On Saturday, January 30, 6pm-9pm, UCR ARTSblock hosts its Winter Reception. Come check out the current exhibitions, including Myth and Majesty: Photographs Picturing the American Southwest; Marie Bovo: How to Survive Abstraction; Aaron Siskind: Pleasures and Terrors; David Weldzius: Estrada Courts, USA; and Recollection: Contemporary Artists Working with the Keystone-Mast Collection at the California Museum of Photography, as well as Second Wave: Aesthetics of the 80s in Today’s Contemporary Art in the Culver Center and Sweeney Art Gallery.
A performance by Kim Zumpfe and Satoe Fukushima, entitled “Dancing is a little too romantic for me," will take place at 6pm in the Culver Center. The reception and performance are free and open to the public.
