Family First Sundays: Art & Activism for Asian Heritage Month | Sunday, May 2, 2021, 11:00am - 11:30am |
May is Asian Heritage Month so for Family First Sunday on May 2 we are going to celebrate with an art activity inspired by Japanese photographer Kusakabe Kimbei and his painted photographs which are in the collection of the California Museum of Photography. We’ll learn about Kusakabe Kimbei and Japanese-American activist Yuji Ichioka. No need to register – just check VIRTUAL UCR ARTS on May 2 at 11am!
Family First Sunday is supported by the Gluck Fellows Program of the Arts at UC Riverside. The Gluck Fellows Program is made possible by the generosity of the Max H. Gluck Foundation.
