First Thursdays: Space Yoga
Culver Center of the Arts
February 7, 2013
First Thursday ArtsWalk | Thursday, February 7, 2013, 6pm - 9pm |
Join us for a celestial night of art and yoga at the ARTSblock. Meditate under the canopy of cosmic lighting and among the art presented in the exhibition, "Free Enterprise: The Art of Citizen Space Exploration." The Culver Center Atrium will be transformed into a yoga studio with sessions starting every 15-minutes. Participants are encouraged to join in their "street" clothes. A certified yoga instructor will guide participants to de-stress through easy movements and poses.
Mats and towels provided. Participants must be over 18 years old. Participants must be in good condition to partake in activity.
SPACE YOGA is an ARTSblock EXTRA CREDIT/First Thursday event and is supported by the Gluck Fellows Program of the Arts at UC Riverside. The Gluck Fellows Program is made possible by the generosity of the Max H. Gluck Foundation. SPACE YOGA is organized by UC Riverside Gluck Fellows, Nicholas Lowe and Pejman Shojaei. Yoga instruction provided by Evan Senn.
