The Next Wave is an online exhibition featuring works by eighteen undergraduate students in UCR’s Department of Art graduating in 2021. Marking an unprecedented time of Covid-19 crisis, the students respond to the challenging conditions of making with innovation, reflection and care. The works in this year’s exhibition include paintings, drawings, photographs, sculptures, and videos. Among the distinguished full-time faculty in UCR’s Art Department are Anna Betbeze, John Divola, Jim Isermann, Brandon Lattu, Charles Long, Lynne Marsh, Yunhee Min, and Amir Zaki.
