Unposed: Street Photography from the CMP's Collection

California Museum of Photography

October 15, 2016 - May 20, 2017

In Unposed, student-curator Kaytlyn Van Dorn-Hanson explores the curious ways in which fleeting moments are captured in street photography. Unposed, often-unaware subjects create new, exceptional juxtapositions. The exhibition features approximately thirty examples of street photography from the CMP's collection, by artists Robert Frank, Lee Friedlander, William Klein, Garry Winogrand, Walker Evans, Elliott Erwitt, Manuel Carrillo, Robert Doisneau, Andy Warhol, and Erich Lessing.

Unposed: Street Photography from the CMP's Collection was curated by CMP Collections Assistant Kaytlyn Van Dorn-Hanson (UCR class of 2017), and is supported by funds provided by UCR's College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences (CHASS) and the City of Riverside.
