Leica + Hasselblad: A Selection of Classic Cameras from the David Whitmire Hearst Jr. Foundation Collection presents publicly for the first time some of the classic cameras from the extensive Hearst Collection. Leica + Hasselblad! There are few machines in the modern world which call up visions of iconic polished, precision instruments and at the same time evoke the visual images that have both documented our age and created our visual and media world. To add context to these extraordinary cameras, the exhibition presents these cameras together with images they made that have become the iconic photographic images of our time.
