Gravitational Pull
California Museum of Photography
January 19 - March 16, 2013
Gravitational Pull features a selection of photographs of the moon and space from the California Museum of Photography's permanent collection. Included in the exhibition are a photograph by Ansel Adams, stereo cards by Keystone View Company, and snapshots made by an anonymous photographer while watching the Apollo 11 launch and moon landing. Together, these works illustrate the public's fascination with the moon as an object of beauty, science, and history.
